RA Classics Logo Design

RA Classics is a web-based small business that offers training in speaking english more eloquently. They aim their services at people who may need to improve their english speaking purely for practical reason, such as recent migrants and also those who may need to refine their speaking for other reason such as performers and public figures.
For the design of this logo we had only very limited input from the client, all we new is that they were after an old world feel. We also thought a literary flavour would help convey what type of services were offered by the business.
With these ideas in mind we decided that a mark which consisted of english characters who be most effective. We used a customised version of the classic serif typeface, Garamond, for the text in the mark and combined it with the geometric sans-serif Twentieth Century Gothic to give a refined, elegant feel to the logo.
We're happy to say that the client was very pleased with this logo.
