FBA Water Quality Report

Quill Studios were chosen to design and produce the 2008 Water Quality Improvement Report for the Fitzroy Basin Association Inc (FBA).
The report was a huge undertaking for FBA, which had invested considerable time and effort compiling data to give a comprehensive overview of water quality issues across the Fitzroy region.
Designing the report was also a big task. The report was over 200 pages long and contained more than 50 figures, most of which had to be either re-drawn or created from scratch by Quill Studios. A large amount of information needed to be displayed in a logical and easy-to-read format. A key aspect of Quill's approach to improving usability within the document was using a defined colour pallete, where each chapter was colour-coded.
FBA needed to refine and modify information at some stages during the report's development - Quill consulted closely with FBA staff to make changes, with patience and flexibility.
The report will be a valuable information tool for FBA and its partners for years to come.
